G15 Community and Investment Group Hosts Roundtable Discussion on DWP Pathways to Work Green Paper
Last week, the G15 Community Investment Group hosted a roundtable discussion ,"Assessing the DWP's Green Paper: What's at Stake for Social Housing." It was a rich conversation that brought together voices from across the housing, charity, and research sectors.
The focus was on how we can support our residents into meaningful, sustainable employment, in the context of the government's Pathways to Work agenda. There was a clear understanding of the role housing associations can play to support this agenda, and a shared commitment across sectors to shape inclusive, long-term solutions.
We explored what’s already working within the system and how it can be adapted to meet the changing needs of residents and employers alike.
This will be a key priority for the G15 Community Investment group over the next two years.
