The G15 responds to the Future Buildings Standard Consultation

The G15 welcomes the opportunity to respond the Government's consultation on the Future Homes Standard guidance.
We recognise that aspects of the guidance are of critical importance. It will help shape the direction of new build housing delivery for future-proofing with low carbon heating and world-leading levels of energy efficiency.
With our collective experience and large portfolios, the G15 is uniquely placed to advise on guidance for future new build and retrofit homes. Our response to this consultation focuses on Section B, which covers:
- Standards for overheating in new residential buildings in 2021
- Part L standards for domestic buildings in 2021’
