BAME housing staff network UNIFY would like to invite you to this exclusive workshop entitled Excuse me, Can I have a word on Thursday 20 April at 10.30am to 12.00am on Teams.

Diversity and Inclusion has been a focus point in the UK for the last year. Since George Floyds death untold voices have spoken about their negative experiences exposing racial bias which includes both overt and micro aggression discriminatory non inclusive behaviour.

Have you or someone you know had a negative experience? Have you ever seen or heard something that has made you feel uncomfortable, where you felt helpless and did not know what to say or do to intercept, disrupt or stop it? Could you have done something to help, or do you want to do something in the future to some degree to intervene and impact differently. Or are you an ally, or someone that just wants to help put a stop to non-inclusive behaviours. This workshop focuses on seeing, believing, calling it out and taking action that will contribute to reinforcing respect and inclusion for our people, eliminating those unwanted conducts.

The workshop will delivered by Cherron Inko-Tariah MBE: The founder of Staff Network day. This workshop is not to be missed.
