G15 responds to the Building a Safer Future consultation

Today the G15 welcomes the opportunity to feedback on the Government’s proposals for reforming and improving the regulatory framework for building and maintaining buildings safely. Ensuring our homes are safe for the residents who live in them is our single greatest responsibility as landlords, and we share the Government’s priority of reviewing the regulation and legislation to make sure the social housing sector is doing everything it can in its approach to safety.

We wholeheartedly support in principle the measures laid out by the Government in its consultation document. The ambitious approach set out will increase building safety for current and future residents.
