The G15 responds to first phase of Code of Governance consultation

  • 31 March 2020

The G15 welcomes the chance to respond to first phase of the National Housing Federation’s (NHF) Code of Governance consultation.

The NHF is reviewing its Code of Governance which published in 2015 and is widely used across the housing association sector. The purpose of the code is to provide clear requirements and provisions for housing association boards, to ensure the highest standards of governance.

The NHF is reviewing the code over three stages with a view to publishing a new version, which will reflect timely issues affecting our sector, such as accountability to residents, health and safety, and equality and diversity in our organisations. The first phase of the consultation closed on 13 March.
