What can we learn from the pandemic about supporting people at times of crisis and the role good homes have to play?

On 10 December from 10am until 11.30am, the G15 will be bringing together a high-profile panel of decision makers to join our members in discussing what we can learn from the response to the pandemic and how we can work together towards recovery at a virtual event ‘Working together for Londoners’.

Joining the panel, chaired by Geeta Nanda OBE – Vice-Chair of the G15 and Chief Executive of Metropolitan Thames Valley, will be:

  • Tom Copley, Deputy Mayor of London for Housing and Residential Development
  • Cllr Darren Rodwell, London Councils' Executive Member for Housing and Planning and Leader of Barking & Dagenham Council
  • Adam Lent, Chief Executive of New Local
  • Helen Evans, Chief Executive at Network Homes and G15 Chair

In partnership with communities and local government, colleagues from across the G15 have worked on the frontline of lockdown to support people. During the event, we’ll be launching a video sharing their stories.

At the G15, we believe this event will help us to understand how we can support people to live well now, prepare for future times of crisis and build stronger communities in the future.

The event will be held on Thursday 10 December from 10am until 11.30am.
