The G15 responds to First Homes consultation

The G15 welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Government’s consultation on the delivery of First Homes.
The First Homes policy is designed to deliver discounted homes for local people and the Government ran a consultation seeking views on both the design of this policy and options for its implementation. This consultation ended on 1 May 2020.
The G15 is supportive of the Government’s ambition to give more people access to homeownership. But the implementation of First Homes must not the reduce the delivery of low rent homes.
